Applicant must write a letter to the Foundation explaining why and how they accept the challenge to make something good happen in the world. The Foundation will review all applications in a blind review process where all names have been removed to eliminate bias. No grants may be awarded to an officer, manager or trustee of the organization, nor to a member of the selection committee, nor to a substantial contributor. Family members of these individuals are also not eligible to receive grants. Past year’s winners are welcome to apply.

Applicant must be a member in good standing or the immediate family member of an equestrian association. Applicant must be attending or planning to attend an accredited trade school or institution of higher learning. Applicant must provide academic record to date. Applicant must complete questionnaire concerning, academic awards, leadership roles, community involvement, degree program and name of educational institution they are planning on attending.
